Matt Pippin, Healthcare Legislative Aide for Senator Akaka, will brief members on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, with a focus on funds available for healthcare. Ginny Pressler will join him to review Hawaii’s piece of the federal stimulus funding for healthcare.

(Location:  Queen’s Conference Center, 1301 Punchbowl St., 2nd floor lobby.  Parking will be validated either valet or at their parking garage on Miller St. across from the medical center.)  The easiest would be to valet park and tipping is voluntary.  The Queen’s Conference Center is on the corner of Punchbowl & Beretania Sts. and there will be a sign on the corner indicating so.
